I used to think I had to suffer to succeed.
Growing up, I watched my mum wake up before dawn to run her building materials shop just to keep food on the table. My dad, great man, was retrenched his job after the company he worked for was acquired. Things were tough. But like many Nigerians, we were taught that if you just worked hard enough, things would get better.
So I worked. I saved. I “behaved.”
But I was still broke.
It took me years to realise… I wasn’t poor because I was lazy. I was poor because of how I thought about money.
And sadly, most of those thoughts were planted in school, at home, and even in church.
Like..
But guess what? I’ve seen too many “good jobs” vanish overnight. I’ve seen savings disappear in one medical emergency. And I’ve seen people who don’t work half as hard becoming millionaires, because they think about money differently.
That’s why I made this video.
In it, I break down the 3 money lies that are keeping most people broke, and how to break free.
But this is not just about exposing lies. It’s about starting a new way of thinking that helps you take control of your money, your future, and your peace of mind.
Watch it now and tell me if it doesn’t shake something inside you:
Watch the biggest money lies we were taught, and how they’re keeping you broke
If anything in this video hits home, do me a favour. Share it with one person who needs it.
The truth is, money doesn’t respond to how hard you work. It responds to how wisely you think.
And I want more young Nigerians and Africans to stop grinding aimlessly and start growing intentionally so we can build a truly prosperous Africa for all. It’s one of the reasons I breathe.
Let’s build wealth with sense, not just sweat.
Rooting for you with love,
— Isaac
